Sausage po boy and potato salad from The Green Beetle. Submitted by my fiancé, who went to lunch near my office and did not invite me.
Dublin Coddle from The Brass Door in Memphis, TN. Poached bangers, potatoes, onions, bacon and cabbage with whole-grain mustard. Totally out-of-the-ordinary for someone who usually gets a sandwich or sliders there, but this was really good! Like them on Facebook for their daily specials.
Steak teriyaki bento from Tokyo Grill in Memphis. Crazy deal, all that food is like $12 total I think.
M.E.M.P.H.I.S.: Ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion “spices,” oil and vinegar. Kwik Chek, Memphis, TN.
Beef tetrazzini with mashed sweet potatoes and mixed veggies from Trolley Stop Market, Memphis, TN. The mashed sweet potatoes were OMG incredible.
Chicken tom yum soup from Jasmine, Memphis, TN
Note: If you order your food spicy from here, be prepared for tears and snot to stream down your face. They take “spicy” very seriously.
Half ‘n’ half from The Bar-B-Q Shop, Memphis, TN
Don’t worry, I didn’t eat the whole thing. Or at least not in one sitting.
