Emerald Thai’s $6.99 lunch menu. Thirteen entrees, and all but one comes with a choice of soup or spring roll and a side of steamed rice. Shrimp costs $2.50 extra but totally worth it. The tom yum was awesome. And they serve beer!

Went-here-for-the-sweet-tea-but-this-salad-was-actually-really-good lunchbrag: Basil parmesan chicken salad and broccoli cheese soup from McAlister’s Deli (East Memphis location)
Chicken tom yum soup from Jasmine, Memphis, TN
Note: If you order your food spicy from here, be prepared for tears and snot to stream down your face. They take “spicy” very seriously.
I’ve always gotten the chicken tortilla soup at Las Delicias, but after two different people recommended I try the Aztec soup, I decided to give it a shot.
My review? Chicken tortilla, it’s been nice knowing ya. Thanks for the recommendation.
